First proper ride this year!

Post by DavieMac11 »

Well, we finally got our first decent day of the year up here yesterday. Although forecast said rain, weather remainied dry all day!
Myself and a mate on his 1050 Speed Triple went out for bout 80 odd miles down Loch Ness side. Only down side was my mate started throwing up a load of gravel from his back tyre and chipped my newly painted front mud guard! :(
However, got my own back when I passed him on the way home and bounced a few stones of his legs! Could almost hear him screaming over the rumble of both our race systems! :D

Passed plenty of other bikes on the road too, including one black storm. Had a great ride and looking out the window this morning, think I may head back out again today! :)

Don't you just love this time of year when the weather starts improving and brings all the bikes out from under their covers! :)

I managed to get out yesterday too, just as I was about to leave rain threatened but after a few choice words it disappeared as soon as it started and blue skies returned. It was quite windy and going up the by-pass with the wind directly behind, felt like my bike had an extra 10bhp, not so good coming back though, but still good to get out. Sounds like you were enjoying yourself as well :!: apart from the newly painted front mud guard being chipped :!:

Yes you're right, I do love this time of year, especially when the weather is good :!:

Think it rained here some time last year... Been warm & sunny since then. :P
If you ate yourself would you become twice as big or simply disappear?
