Cheerio for the moment!

Post by Seeker 77 »

Well, today is the day i leave you all for an extended spell of exceedingly hot weather and no bikes for seven months. Am off on my 'holidays' to Basra.

I have now decided to keep the SP1 for good and not do any kind of upgrade rubbish, so that being the case i am thinking of having the engine stripped and rebuilt and all major components serviced. It is worth having done? The bike has done 18000 miles and is feeling a little tired having been used as a 120 mile round trip communter for the last ten weeks.

Any thoughts of what i should have done and what needs to b e done will be welcomely received.

PS I will drop in from time to time with amusing quips about camels but no riding for me for the next few months.

Be safe everyone and keep low, move fast.

PPS This is repeated on another Honda forum for those who are reading it for a second time!!
