What a day!!

Post by jurgen »

Man have i had one of the best days in ages. A long time a go my former manager bought me a driving day as a thank you...and finally....(can you guess?) I managed to do it. All i can say is ooo my gosh!!!

It has been absolutly wiled. Got to drive a Porsche Carera, Ferrari 355, Scooby STI7 and a lotus Elise. Hopefully i spelt all of those correct ;-) Still trying to recover. Would definatly recommend it to any one worth every penny....if your paying for it.

Have put some photo's below but have more on photobuck, link at the very bottom for any ones who's interested. I want a porsche now, but don't think that's gonna happen so will more then happuly settle for a scooby or elise.....going to have a cold bath now to recover :-)

Nice, Would love to drive a 911 GT3 and/or (I'll take what's offered!) 355.

That scooby is on gravel wheels. Was there a bit of off roading? Looks like and amazing day out.

Another scooby/storm owner in the making?

Yeh the Scooby was on gravel tyres as they use if for their rally day as well. What a car.

I had actually been thinking about a scooby for a while now, but which one? Which one can i insure. Now having drivin one my mind is set YES PLEASE. Think i'm gonna for a 2L Sport as insurance isn't that much more then my current car :-) Just need to save a bit first

Im only about 5 miles from coventry and every week people are being threatened with guns and knives for there scoobys and mitsis there.
A lad i know lives in a village close by and owns a evo 6 and 4 blokes with baseball bats tryed to break in his house to steal his keys , but this was at 4 oclock in the afternoon with everyone in the house!
Suppose its because there the perfect blaggers car , supercar performance with seating for five blokes and a big boot.

Would love to Kaz , im half way there anyway as my mums from durham ,
they all moved down here in the fifties so my grandad could work at the local pit .
So i can understand the lingo and love dripping on toast :P
In fact Nuneaton were i live is like a little bit of the north as nearly everyone is from yorkshire or scotland and came down to work at all the local pits.
Mind you its a shame some of them never went home when the pits closed
