Good Plan Davie...A Man after my own heart, it would be a shame not to have at least a wee tiddle out and about,
I was thinking perhaps somthing like a wee jaunt up towards ullapool on the A835 and then turn off towards Autbea with a brief stop to see the 150ft drop at the falls of Measach, then head onwards to Gairloch for some sobering coffe at the Rocky Mountain cafe,
From Gairloch drive down to Kinlochewe, then you could either head back to inverness from there or if you are in the mood for a longer run... push onto sheildaig, down to kishorn, lochcarron onto the A890 towards Auchensheen and back onto the inverness road by garve??
We need a Run organiser with loads of local knowlege...who can set a meet\place time,
wouldnt want any mishaps in the glens as those sneeky haggis can fair catch you out if your not expecting them
particularly after a long drive and a night on the drams

That sounds like a perfect plan to me stormtrooper! Great choice of roads.
Cupasoop, I was a ride up the Bealach na ba last year on my old bike before I got the storm. Bit of an eye opener too considering i'd only been riding for about 6weeks! Would definately be up for another run up that way tho. Probably one o the most spectacular roads i've ever been on.
Look forward to meeting you all next month!

Oh im not one for organising runs
.....much prefer to tag at the back and play catch up...
. if you want to do applecross you could run round the penisula from sheialdaig and them ride down the "pass of the cattle"
its a lot less scary than trying to ride up it meeting italians in campervans
...boy that was very eh em interesting..

Oh dear, bit of a predicament i'm in!
Just been offered a half price ferry ticket to NW200 and free accomodation in a cottage, after a mate of a mate dropped out of going!
Never been before and always fancied it. Problem is, it's the same weekend as you lot coming up my neck o the woods!
Must say i'm pretty tempted but think i may be struggling to get time off work on the fri. Decisions, decisions!!!
