Hi all,

Just bought myself a Firestorm after having my CBR6 written off by a taxi last week! I've always fancied one and looked at loads in the past so after my accident I thought that the best way to cheer myself up was to take the plunge and buy one.

I'm now the proud owner of a 1999 black ( being the fastest colour) 'storm with a lower fairing and a set of Remus high level carbon cans. I've only had it for 3 days but wow what a difference to my old bike, I can see why you are all so enthusiastic about them.

Looking forward to getting some miles on it as soon as poss ( apart from just the daily commute).

Cheers, Bruce.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I wasn't too badly hurt although my poor old cbr doesn't look too good. Bloody taxi drivers, " sorry but I just didn't see you", " well no you wouldn't have I was under your front bumper!". If nothing else it prompted me to buy a 'storm and so far still grinning every time I get on it. All I need now is my insurance company to pay up and to stop aching all over.

Cheers, Bruce.
