I have owned a Firestorm race bike for 4 years but have now bought a roadbike as well.

Its a 1999 bike with 14,000 miles. I dont think its ever seen rain, as its mint. Fitted with braided hoses, red hugger, red undertray and pillion seat cover. Red screen (not sure about this, will probably be changed for a light tint screen). LED indicators and tail tidy.

Art race cans and a lower fairing were fitted, but I didnt want either, so they are being auctioned on you know where!!!

hello!

Looks very nice. I'm sold on getting an undertray and hugger now. I agree about the red screen though.

The knee down action was at Brands Hatch, Druids Hairpin winter before last. Fleece on to keep out the cold!!!

I agree they sound good, but are too noisey on the Essex roads. The cops would hear me coming for miles. They seemed louder than the Microns fitted to my race bike!!!

I wouldn't mind a pair of race cans if thay are not too loud, possible with removable baffles. Maybe Quill. Has anyone got any suggestions.

Theres always Blueflames in your neck of the woods Kitch i have the evos twin ports they have removable baffles held in with circlips. Not too loud with them in and becuase they are twin port you can run with one baffle in each side and one out to get a little deeper tone without being too loud.
I run with none in and they are Fxxxxxg loud they can be a pain to fit though for some reason i have heard of a few complaints on fitting them i had no problems when fitting mine.

Now with stock belly pan (Â£7.50 off Ebay inc P&P), clear screen, and polished downpipe and collector. MUCH BETTER

Never really noticed before but the std belly thing is definately rqd, polished down pipe looks nice

That is sure looking good, did you polish the downpipes etc yourself

if so how big of a job was it

It took me about an hour before the GP racing started on EuroSport on Sunday morning. All done using wet and dry, finishing with a polishing mop and cutting compound.

I bet it took you nearly that long to take them off and re-fit them

did you need to replace any of the gaskets
