You regulars will remember the beautiful machine created by the MonoMaster here in Oz. Well, we had a Storm Gathering between the New South Welshmen & the Queenslanders this weekend & Mono's bike is no longer.

We had 15 bikes, 11 being Storms, and naturally, the most popular colour (rich, golden yellow), comprised more than half the numbers! Postcard pic's to follow when I can get hold of a Nokia USB cable... :roll:

Keep in mind, this was a fairly low-speed off and Mono would be about the most capable rider on the trip. If it can happen to him, we all need to take a bit more care.

Gees, firstly, I should've said Mono will be fine, although he's pretty sore at the mo'...

We were doing around 60 or 70kph, Mono went to lift the front & his left foot slipped off the peg. The bike hit the road at every possible angle.

That's a standard Storm with close to AUS$20,000 of mods done in the last 11 months!

Looks like its time to glue zebra fur all over it and abuse it porperly...

maybe adding footrests like Loris Capirossi's gloves would be a future mod you consider?

Ahhh, 'tis not to be, Rainmaker. Mono has announced his retirement (so to speak) from road riding, on the Oz site. He's had a couple of high-speeders & this was his final wake-up call. His wife & young kiddies have rightly taken priority, so that'll be it for a while.

I'm sure he'll pop up on here when he gets a chance & fill you all in on his exploits.
