15BHP Power Mod/Chip VTR???

Hi all,

Spotted these on Ebay and just wondered if anyone has fiited one or had any experience with these. Do they really increase BHP?

i think these are crap and plug in to the lambda probe somewhere and fool it into thinking its under fueling so it richens it up

15hp is a whole lot of hp

Newbie question alert

Do all storms have fuel injection or only later models. Mines a 99 model.

Sparrowlegs is right it is meant for fuel injected bikes

All Firestorms are not fuel injected, they have two large carburetters instead

the VTR it is referring to in the add is probably the SP's 1&2

I have seen the same ad advertising this power gain allegedly for the Firestorm on OZ Ebay sometime back.

I've just found the same ad, although in the UK this time

I was about to say "ooohhh wouldn't trust plugging something in to my pride and joy". Then i thought, better not write that 'cos i already have a power commander, and we know that they are reliable and don't cause any problems.........

it sounds exactly like the de-limiter you plug into a TL, which is fuel injected, my mate had one and he says it did make a difference, i looked at the ad, and in the FAQ's it says it will fit all petrol, fuel injected bikes.....that rules the storm out, even though the ad says its for a storm. i sent him a question so we'll see what reply i get.

No, you are wrong. Allegedly only has one "D"
