Yet another Newbie

Post by Kermit »

Hi all,

My name is Bob & I live in South Wales. I'm back on 2 wheels after a 6 year break !!!

I bought a 98 storm a couple of weeks ago & found this forum after my battery started boiling on Friday !
Have bought an R6 Reg/Rec off fleabay, so after I've fitted that & got a new battery I'll be back on the road.

Glad I found this place as there's plenty of info here, so I'll be hanging round & maybe able to contribute after a while !!!

You'll understand my usename when you see pics of my bike, I'll no doubt be chastised by everyone for not having the fastest colour now though !!! Although I'm still confused as to which colour that is from reading posts on here

Actually it isn't red, yellow, black or silver. It's been resprayed very green !

Wouldn't normally touch an obviously resprayed bike but it is a very good job & looks well looked after. Anyway, once he started it up in his garage, the sound from those remus oval cans made the money fall out of my pockets & into the guys hands !!!

I'm gonna get some Firestorm decals to put on it to break up the mass of colour a bit. I was thinking Chrome decals, whaddya think ?
