I went - bloody brilliant weather
Didn't see any Storms but there was 2 or 3 SP1's there and a Benelli and a couple of f-4's in red'n'silver
sniff sniff. Lovely all black Gixxer 1000 as well (I do like some 4 cylinder bikes!! Honest I do)
Trials demo team on drew in the crowds.
Think because it's the best sunny evening we've had for a while, everyone had the same idea - was bloody packed!
Never saw a copper anywhere near thankfully, but kept it steady through the villages 'n' 30/40 limits just in case.
Good ride out - good ride back Smashin'
Graeme.

Hi,
Not sure what time we got there really - left my mates at Keighley about 6.45 and came in via Ilkley, Otley, Arthington Road, Harewood Collingham, Boston Spa and Tadcaster.(left the same way).
Probably there for about an hour or so I suppose, saw the display team leave.
Managed to get parked by the wall next to road, about half way down, display already going when we got there.
Mates Gixxer 750 was infront of my red Storm (the fastest colour BTW).
I did reverse in to spot though so my screen with VTR100.org sticker was visible, and did look out for other Storms. Did mean to have a wander about looking and drooling at other bikes, just never got around to it.
We were just to the pub side of the display teams' exit route.
Saw a Ferrari that had no chance of escaping before the bike around it left!
Never budged from the wall apart from to go for a pee just before we left.
Ne'er mind will catch up another time at Squires or at GYBS weekend after next.
Cheers
Graeme.

Yeah Bob, it has,
Red Storm, Red Baglux tank cover ATM, Micron racing cans [Nice 'n' Loud]and carbon fibre hugger (Silver Honda sticker on front mudguard too - same one as on screens, ordered it by accident when I ordered new decals for re-build).
Red Black & White leathers and a very bright AGV Rossi Rep Titech lid
Followed out by blue and white gixxer 750
Saw an SP1 over by the tea hut, didn't notice any Storms though - maybe going blind as well as stupid? Must've gone right passed yer.
By the way,,, any plods reading my description ....
Look into my eyes
not around my eyes
look into my eyes
"you will not remember my description or keep a look out for me, but if you do, you'll not pull me cos 'I'm a good boy I am - Not very bright but I can lift 'eavy fings'..."
3-2-1 you're back in the room!

Forgot to mention...
In need of a good wash and a polish!
I don't like taking it out in the pouring rain, but I ain't no fair weather biker either.
For sentimental reasons this Storm is going to be kept and on the road for as long as I can. So I'm trying to avoid too much bad weather and too many miles. But it's just so much fun riding her!
I'll have another bike as a commuter and workhorse soon - just not decided what yet. Also been thinking I might look at putting the donor Storm on the road. Maybe as a Fighter, although they're not really my thing. Would just be cheaper on parts!
If I get chance I'll give her a good wash and polish before Sunday just in case.
Cheers,
Graeme.
