I really hope he's OK. That looked so badly broken, that could be a career ending crash.

I’ve just got off the phone to Leon’s mum and after some tests tonight Leon is being kept in hospital another night. He’s been up on the crutches again today and the doctors are very pleased with his progress. The break in his femur was a clean break and therefore made the surgery much easier. He’s also got a slight piece of bone which has detached from the femur but this should heal relatively quickly.

He has three fractures in the right side of his pelvis and he also dislocated the pelvic bone.

He’s making good progress and more blood tests will be done tomorrow and then going on those results he should be released from Lincoln Hospital and able to return home.
Good news in the end considering.
