Re: To cover or not to cover, that is the question

My first wife put a heavy metal tool box on the seat, rear end of a bike of mine once, scratched it to bits Hence she is an ex wife. That and the fact she was a grumpy fat bitch

To cover or not to cover, that is the question

I have always resisted covering my bikes in my garage as I have always been worried of trapping moisture and coming back to a rusty heap.
However, at the bike show this week I saw a cover made from 'breathable' material and it's got me wondering again. Any of you guys use a cover?

Re: My Black Storm!!

Hi bud, could you tell me where you got your front flush mount indicators please. The original monsters have got to go. Also, have you had an MOT since fitting the rear light with the indi's built in. I thought there was a rule about the indi's having to be so far each side of the No plate, but I ...

Flush mount front indicators

Help me experiences storm troopers. I love my 1998, vie owned her 10 days and I love her, but the OEM front indicators are pig ugly. Mini's look tricky due to the bloody great hole in the fairings the OEMs fit in to. I'm guessing that out there somewhere are a set of flush mount indicators that are ...

Snatch, no not that...this,

Had my 1998 for a week or so now, just getting to know the old girl. The bike is mint but anything like a fast pull away and the clutch snatches like crazy, front end jumpin' and bumpin' all over the shop somewhere between a wheelie and a stall start. This normal?

Re: 'Nice choice of bike mate'

Having had bikes on and off for the last 30 years I've had my first Firestorm for 1 week, good ain't they! In fact, bloody brilliant fun, and for under 2 grand. Crazy.

Running temperature. Advise please

As a new stormer, I'm a little worried that my mint 1998 barely moves the temp needle, however hard I push the poor old girl. Are we thinking gauge, sender unit or is this the norm :confused

Re: fuel tank swap

I'm brand new to owning a storm and have a '98. I like the idea of a bigger tank, and this line of chat I presume I can fit a VFR tank to my steed. Any particular year or other little bits I need? All advise welcome. Ta

Happy

14 years after attending the bike show, seeing a yellow firestorm on a carousel and falling in love, I finally own one. She is absolutely mint and Steve, you are a top man. Just wanted to say Yo to you other stormers.
