Re: Air filter & plugs - which is best & where from?

cheers guys for the advice. Took all the parts to Honda World - they told me to put them all back, good for another 6,000km or more (which is a year or 2 for me). They recon I'm the first customer with a second hand bike they have sent away - going to take it in see if they can find something else ...

Re: Air filter & plugs - which is best & where from?

G'day Mac, the ones I pulled out are NKG DPR9EIX-9 Iridium ones - so put the same back I guess. I've seen special hotter spark ones adveristed - but being the bike is in excellent condition and runs well as it is, I didnt want to stuff something up. The bike does have aftermarket pipes, Low ...

Re: How to replace the air filter

Thanks Kev - it is an 03 model, so 19 ltr tank.
Another dumb question - but there is no reserve tap or switch?
Just that the other day I ran out of fuel but filled up with only 14ltrs?

thanks guys - sound simple enough, thought there may have been a fuel tap, but could find one & doesn't sound like I need one anyway.

Re: New VTR & to the forum

Thanks for the welcome guys - and yes very happy with the "deeply exotic metallic Lapis blue that shimmers like an evening sky to temp one with a beckoning call to ride, and ride" according to one review? One question you guys might be able to help with is confirmed spec's on the bike. I have done ...

New VTR & to the forum

Recently purchased a 2003 Fire Storm and loving it. Have been riding for a long time, but havent had a bike since my 84 VF750F, 10 years ago. Been riding mates Ducati's & KTM's, but decided to go back to Honda, but this time get a twin - no regrets. Also decided to join this forum - also a first for ...
