I did 63km, 2up. At the petrol station it took 14.3L of fuel so technically I could have gone a bit further. Also I use 98 Octane petrol which is the best you can get here in Oz outside of a racetrack or airfield. I'm not sure what Octane most others are using but as in my car I get better mileage ...

Yeah it went back in fine, the easiest part of the jobcybercarl wrote:I would have taken the carbs off. Did you manage to get the nipple at the at the rear back into the hole in the frame. And yes your right that front mounting bolt is a fiddly little wombles.
