Well i have decided after some thought and a um tight budget going to get powder coat been quoted £35 a wheel need to get a quote for my forks but shouldn't imagine it will be a fortune

I would love to have a go would rather not spend the money but alas im in a second floor flat with no garage and next to no tools if anyone lives in hampshire with a garage and wants to lend a hand im sure i could return the favor with some beer tokens!:)

Well exactly im happy to pay for a good job as im fussy about my bike looking straight and clean but don't have much or any actually exp with paintwork or how much it should cost so thanks for your input

The price is for just dropping of the wheels ready to go and just the fork legs. He was recomended by the bike shop i use as i was told he does a very good job just wanted to ask on here before i save for the next month to pay for it!:)

I got a quote yesterday to get my wheels and forks painted and was quoted £250 does these seem high or is it just me? Im not after candy colours or anything just white on the wheels and silver on the forks

Indeed they will be a pain but worth it i think had white wheels on my widowmaker and it looked great :) bit of wd40 on a rag cuts through crap inbetween washes and a toothbrush gets in ...

Thanks for all the warm welcomes :) yes it does have manual ccts fitted and a upgraded reg/rectifier and i am in Portsmouth Hampshire :) The bike looks a bit nicer in the pics than irl the forks are a pitted mess and there is lots of paint flake on the wheels. Planning on getting the wheels powederc...

Just picked up my new to me Firestorm at the weekend did about 100 miles on it over the weekend and i love it especially the kick up that ass at 6k rpm!:) Needs a bit of cosmetic tidying but mechnically sound with 25k on the clock :) http://i1196.photobucket.com/albums/aa401/maggot4life2/Ninja/Fires...
