Been and gone and done it.

Yes, Haze and I got married, but it's not that. Living surrounded by mountains ans forests had given me the idea that something to get me off road might be good. Downside of living in the middle of nowhere is the difficulty finding anything. So when I was at the dealer I bought the Fazer from and sa...

Re: Tying the knot

HI all, thanks for the good wishes. The day went well and we all had a great time. As for me I can't believe my luck. Got myself an intelligent, well read ex-porn star with the finest boobs money can buy, whose hobbies are cooking and sex in all it' varieties. OK, she doesn't own an off-licence, but...

Tying the knot

Hi all. Haze and I are back from snowy France for a few days in order to, yes, get married! Being the true romantics we are, we thought it would be good to put the seal on our relationship in front of a few friends and family. So Saturday 20th in Leicester we will be having a fairly laid-back ceremo...

Re: Hazel`s birthday suit.

Hi all. Well we`ve been back to the UK for a couple of weeks, sorting out all sorts of business and doing lots of shopping what with French prices being so steep and the pound being so weak. Getting into the UK wasn`t easy, as the vet hadn`t given Sammy the right treatment, so we were turned away at...

Hazel`s birthday suit.

Bonjour, We`ve had a couple of birthdays here - mine was on Monday. As is traditional Haze dressed up in her usual demure fashion - the damning evidence is posted on our Flickr page - link below. There`s a few other new photos, some even including motorbikes! We`ve been having a stunning summer here...

Re: MONZA PICS

Sorry to be a bit late on this, but this is the first chance I've had to get on the internet, at the local tourist office - no pics for the same reason. Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to have Dave and Tim come visit - no, really :D Shame it was such a flying visit as we only had time to s...

Re: SV 1000

I changed from a Storm to a faired SV a few years ago. IMHO it does most things better than the Storm (especially fuel consumtion!) and is pretty easy to get on with. Its a little less comfortable, has a much better gearchange, sounder handling, 21st century clocks etc. Basically what Honda should h...

Re: Died and gone to heaven

Hi all, wasnt trying to make you jealous (well, not much) just had to get this ride off my chest - probably my best ever - ride, not chest! (as you know, someone else at this address has that qualification  ) Sorry, I digress. Haze is from scotland and has done a fair amount of travelling roun...

Died and gone to heaven

Hello from the sunny south of France where spring has well and truly arrived. The othe day I took advantage of the sun to give my new toy (Faser 1000) its first test ride. I could go on and on about the phenomenal motor which drives like a train from any revs, the comfort, the riding position that l...

Let it snow!

Apparently you lot had a smidging of snow recently - and of course the country ground to a halt. As I posted previously, we've had record snow in Chauvac. The photos I tried to upload on new years eve didn't get posted (too much traffic?) but they're on my Flickr site now. It really was beautiful, t...

Shame on me!

Hi all. Well, after six years I am finally without a V-twin. Trying to convert the SV to stupid French 100hp regs proved too difficult and costly, so it's back in the UK and up for sale at Fasttrack in Leicester (see Bike Trader). The ride back was a right bugger - 800 miles in freezing temperatures...

Bonne Annee

Hi all. Just a quick line to wish you all Bonne Annee (Happy New Year). Since getting back from the UK we’ve experienced the heaviest snowfall they’ve had here for decades – GREAT! I’ve bunged some piccies up on Flickr (sorry guys, none of Haze this time) – it’s almost impossible to take...

BONJOUR 2

Hi all, thought I'd drop in for a little update on our French adventure (see Bonjour, posted 1st October). All still going well in France, though Autumn has definitely arrived - well we do live at 850 metres (2700 feet). Around the end of September through October the colours on the trees here were ...

BONJOUR!

Hi all. Following a nudge from the Silver Zipper, I thought it was about time I got back on here and updated you on our French progress. (For newbies, Haze and I and Sammy the dog left the UK for France in June). It’s not been easy to get onto t’internet as we don’t have a connection at home y...

Au revoir

Well I'm off to France tomorrow, with a vanload of stuff (including the bike - I hope) for our new life in Chauvac. I'll be back in the UK in a weeks time for a couple of weeks, then (assuming Haze's daughter has had her baby) off for good. This thing gets unplugged from tomorrow, so I'm taking this...
