found a crack in the downpipes on the exhaust, wot issues will this cause in the running of the bike with it only being a twin. ive had problems with the bike cutting out when you rev it for about 30 seconds, thought it was knackered battery but that hasnt sorted it, could it be dragging air in thro...

just had my tank off to clean the carbs and to turn fuel on turn tap anti clockwise, clockwise turns it off.

hi ive had probs with reg/rec and battery, finally(i hope ) got it sorted, but i was running the bike at about 4 thou revs when i heard a strange slight knocking banging noise coming from the starter motor area and it seemed like the bike was going to stop, took revs off and she ticked over and revv...

this is the same thing i had on mine and ive still not cured it yet, i think the reg/rect went and took as much with it as possible. ive now got the yamaha reg/rec on but think the batterys buggered and the immobiliser on the ignition works but the alarm doesnt, also the neutral light keeps flickeri...

dont know if i could trust it to make the journey without doing any more damage than already done.as it is at the min it keeps cutting put every so often so would be a bit risky. id be willing to give u some cash to hold if youd let me take the battery a cple of days to try it then get it back to yo...

got the yammy r/r on fired up ok then just cut out. tried it a few times and sometimes it ran others it just died, looks like either the battery went when i had my problems before or theirs a cable from battery earthing and draining power, 1 time it fires ok other time it just clicks like no charge,...

I notice on the link at begining of this that the red and green wires are diffrent way round on the Honda to the yamaha is this right, dont want to blow anything up. cheers

im between sheffield and rotherham, so got fairly good access to plenty of diffrent places for ride outsproviding this wonderfull countryside of ours gives us some decent enough weather.
