Re: What earplugs do you use?
I use these: http://www.bikehps.com/acatalog/Motorcycle_Earplugs.html?gclid=CJyOlIKehM0CFcsW0wodRWQPVQ#au30916 Good for being able to hear what people are saying at petrol stations etc and hearing the intercom. Also have a good carry case. There's a few of these channeled types about, Auritech do si...

Re: What's in a noise?
I've had the same thing recently. It doesn't sound as deep and throaty as before, it's got a harsher kind of crack to the exhaust note. Also surging at 4k rpm, which I'm slowly trying to fix. Was all good (I think) before removing PAIRS and fitting a quick shifter, so maybe I should refit PAIRS and ...

Re: Car insurance - HOLY MOLY!
Tbh I see why people drive without insurance . It's a scam and we have to have it !!! ...and we have to go to all the effort to sort it out. Endless searching, form-filling and phone calls (at a premium rate) until we get bored and just go with one of them. On comparison sites, quotes for the VTR r...

Oil in the airbox
Is it normal to see a few runs and light film of oil in the airbox? Particularly where the little outlet is on the breather tank. I understand the purpose of the breathers but should there be a visible amount? I'm guessing this is why the bike "drinks" a little oil, although I don't think ...

Re: Whats cheered you up today...?
Went for my regular loop and it all just felt wrong. Wasn't comfortable on the bike, body position felt alien, shifting my weight for corners was almost confusing, and I had no focus what so ever. I was wondering what I've worked on recently and what could be affecting the handling so badly. Anyway ...

Did you ever fit it and get pics? There are a few different ones out there so would be good to know which version it is and how it looks on the bike.

Re: Goodbye single Seat Bike.
I'd vote the ZZR but if she's quite tall she might be more comfortable on something like the CB. Plus if she goes off it again you could convert the CB into a Suzuka Endurance racer and annoy some people on track... http://kickstart.bikeexif.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/best-custom-motorcycles-27-...

Re: GoPro helmet mounting
I'm also a chin-bar fan. I don;t have any pics of the mounting but I use the velcro strap at the moment and wrap it around, just need to keep the visa cracked open but no bother. I was thinking about a sticky on the front at some point. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v389/Devildude/Screen%20Shot%...

Re: Standard Pipes
I only ran them for a trackday to ensure I got through testing, but I did actually enjoy them, during the ride there and back too. You only get the noise when cracking on, which encouraged me to crack on :) Overtaking didn't feel rude and obnoxious either, just quietly swoop by and carry on. ...I do...
