Chris, it's a Bi-Xenon i.e. a dipping HID - very bright, yes - and I managed to get one with a slimline ballast and power feed straight from the battery.....sirch345 wrote:Neat touch CA.
What bulb or headlight set-up are you usingas it looks in the pic to be much brighter than standard, especially when you compare it to your side light (position light).
Chris.
Clivey cheers for the detailed reply, that explains the brighter looking headlightcliveyandrews wrote: Chris, it's a Bi-Xenon i.e. a dipping HID - very bright, yes - and I managed to get one with a slimline ballast and power feed straight from the battery.....
I have since replaced the sidelight with an SMD LED of the same colour temp....
Next project is to replace the light strp with SMD LEDS (rather than conventional ones) - SMDs are far brighter - but even as std with just sidelights is very bright:
Now - suggestions for what I do about the rear indicators...?
Chris, FleaBay has just about every variety you could want, the only issue with SMDs are the fact they aren't such a neat shape...sirch345 wrote:
