He must have still been in 4th gear!! 166 is an outrageous speed to be travelling on an A road........................ usual Gixer riders, they are all bloody idiots.........

I echo Tim's thoughts but i can't get excited about it. You pays your money, you takes your chances.

I know he wasn't caught by a GATSO but am I right in remembering they only trigger at speeds up to 188 mph? I seem to remember a test done by someone once (MCM, Top Gear??). I was just wondering if it might be an excuse to use 6th gear on a Gixer

Guy round here was caught doing 140 on the duel carriageway and just got a six month ban...but he was in a car :crazy:
