I could be persuaded, if we can get few more attendees.

Any more for any more?

cool cool

My bike is not really fit to make a ride anywhere with the current cam chain rattle so i will change the CCTs at home soon as i get the parts, but if another workshop day comes about I would enjoy the oppertuninty to meet some fellow stormers :)

Yes Me, I was gonna join in the last one but couldn't be arsed on the day to get off me fat lazy butt. Since then I have met Tony when he came to mine to borrow a rear wheel for his Dyno runs, & we disscused fitting a Reg/Rec, I could also do with getting me carbs balanced or at least seeing how its done.

Brilliant idea Tony, and very generous of you to give up your free time to assist ,it's a pity you don't live in Barnsley. :(

If anyone from the Yorkshire area has the knowledge and time to assist lesser competent mechanics with a similar event I would be very interested to know :)

I would be up for coming down and lending a hand, I have a carbtune kit I could help with that and I have done two CCT conversions now. Also in a couple of weeks I will have 5 sets of manual CCT's made up for anyone that needs a set for the workshop day...

I would be very happy to get some manual ccts. been waiting an age to get some apes from debben and still have no estimate on when they will have stock :(

until then I have purchased some second hand auto tensioners from ebay, they should keep me on the road for a while. gonna change them at the weekend.

If you're holding another workshop day, you can count me in. As my bike spent 18 months parked up in a garden before I got hold of it, worrying about the cct's failing is spoiling every ride.
And like rumpleforeskin, I have nowhere to work on the bike except the roadside.
Bazza, if this goes ahead, could you put me down for a set of your manual tensioners?

The 12th would be better for me, as I won't have access to the lathe to do the cct till the weekend of the 5th

I'd like to attend again and see if I can get some CCT's sorted.
Ride out with Tony after is fun :-) and 170 miles is a nice ride out.

Send PM or email later tony about the dyno. Did you check with the pub?
