Looks like it's a runner,then- I'll suggest Saturday 19th March, let me know if that's ok for everyone.
Saturdays rather than Sundays, as it gives us a chance to nip out for anything needed while the shops are open.

And well done  AmcQ    for offering a Midlands/Wales WS day- the only caution I might add is to get everyone to check that they can loosen their inspection cap covers before they come along- it brings tear to their eyes when you start taking a lump hammer and chisel to their pride and joy while they're watching!

Why not start a new thread?

Now all we need is a Scottish one!

New thread started

And does the fact that I am scottish not allow this to count for both a midlands and a scottish one combined!

Also see from another thread that ABB and Dave came down from Scotland to do stoppers on a bike in Dudley..........and people say that the Scots are not generous  :Beer Popcorn:

I was talking to a Senior Manager at work yesterday about the world cup. You see there was a risk that if everyone watched the world cup on their work PC, it may have messed up the network. He said his mitigation was to take leave and watch it at home. I said "Why, what was your interest? You are Scottish" He said "No I'm not, I'm a jordie"

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

For any new folks, have a read on this thread and see what it's all about, but basically it's a chance to head over to my place in Sevenoaks, Kent, work on your own bike or I'll do it, usually we get some people who just want to see some jobs being done so that they can do them themselves later, or work on their own bikes while I cast an eye over their shoulder to make sure they're doing it right.

Bazza and Jonesy, are you up for joining in again? Your help very much appreciated.

If Jonesy comes over then we'll have a brake expert to hand as well.
I will be up for bringing a couple of sets of manual cct to the mix, and help out where I can.

I'll be asking for people to turn up at 10.00, so that we can get all of the work done and leave a bit of time afterwards to get a ride-out.

We're looking like a few CCT replacements, undoubtedly one or two carb balances, perhaps a delve into an engine or two to see what we can do with valve clearances and the occasional steering head bearing change.
Mine could do with a brake upgrade, but we'll see what can be done with the time available and any parts Chris brings....

Please bring any screwdrivers, small socket sets etc, but I have all of the other tools you'll need for all of these jobs.

Anyone coming by car, could you bring paddock stands, if you have them?
I have one set, but we'll need more, probably...

Game on, as ever

For anybody requiring head bearings replaced/adjusted, I have invested in the proper tool for this so they can be done up to the correct torque.
SP1 master cylinder Tony?
