I always try and plan my trips to avoid motorway services but occasionally get caught out and then I only put sufficient in to get home .
Then when I go to pay for it I have a polite but firm conversation with the guy on the till and always ask him to pass on my comments to his boss if every customer did this maybe we could see prices fall to a more acceptable level.
I always have a go at my MP about prices too.

Re: Fuel prices...
Having to run super unleaded now, due to high comp pistons, so getting expensive.....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Fuel prices...
My better half was steaming again at fuel prices and she's livid. In Korea, you pull into a petrol station, these dolled-up chicks come and wash yer windscreen, fill the tank, check your tyres, oil levels, give you numerous packs of tissues and assorted gifts, all that sort of thing - for your loyalty. Given we pay so much it's more than a shame (frankly a piss-take) that big oil doesn't even bother providing any sort of service here in the UK. (especially the chicks!)
Starts with a R. Rrrrrrrr. Motorbike!
Re: Fuel prices...
I was over excited when I found the price of fuel had dropped recently
After purchasing some of the now cheaper petrol, when paying I commented to the cashier on how good it was to see petrol come down by one penny per litre, only to have a reply of, actually it's two pence per litre. My reply was, well that's even better, now it's only approximately £6.03 a gallon, instead of £6.13
Chris.
