Hello, just bought a vtr, I've read about the cct problem a few times, but have a question. The last owner had them changed by the dealer it was bought from, less than 500 miles ago (receipt for it too), and now have these, which I'm presuming are standard type?

My question is surely now they've been replaced with new ones, Honda would have made them failsafe, after older problems and now not require manual CCT's?
Or is the consensus they're exactly the same - shite?
Any help info much appreciated
