Hi, My bikes got a KnN filter fitted to it, I've had mixed results with them in the past, is it worth keeping or is changing to a standard Honda filter the way to go?
Cheers

Re: K n N filter
depends if its been set up to run on the k&n...
if it's had a dynojet kit fitted it will most probably have an extra hole driled in the slide.
probably easiest way to see is pop off the rear cyl diaphragm cap & have a look if it has a 2mm hole right through the slide...

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
Re: K n N filter
If it has been rejeted and the power curve feels nice and linear with no dips and holes, then keep it, if it has a dip around 5000 revs, then you have 2 choices.
A) spend more time trying to get the jetting sorted for the K&N
B) pop a standard one in and see if it feels better.
