Not the best of mods if you're short in the leg, or if you still have standard front forks, as the forks bottom out easily enough without putting more weight on them by raising the rear. You can use big washers by cutting a slot in them rather than removing the shock top mount to fit them.

Using 1mm spacer will raise the rear approximatley by 4mm, so a 6mm X 4mm will equal a 24mm rear end raise. If you are going to try this mod out for yourself I would try a 2mm spacer/washer first. Yes it will quicken up the turn in.

Get decent springs and oil, then read Twist of the wrist, and be a better rider....Its better to improve yourself, not the bike !!

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

btw - easiest way to fit these is to take the seat off,
undo the top shocker nut behind the tank - just enough... no need to take it off!
then with the sidestand down, pull the bike to the left & get a mate to pop the spacer under the shock.

saves fannying around trying to lever it in lol!

i wouldnt bother dropping the forks though if youre going to jack the rear.... just fitting the spacer puts a lot more load on the forks anyway so you will probably need to increase the preload too.
dropping the forks too much makes the bike Very twitchy at low speed = not a nice feeling.

and also it will stand up too straight on the sidestand and will probably fall over! :Ball Kick:

if it still wont turn in quick enough for you, fit a 160 on the rear.

yeh you can drop the forks but no more than 15mm or so otherwise it ges twitchy & unstable..
you could do same as mine & accidentally fit the shock linkage upside down - that lowers it quite a bit
makes it handle better too imo - mine does anyway
