whats the gear shift mod please ? cheers

Basically take the shifter off the gear shaft and move round one or two splines put it back, your aiming to have the shifter part at 90* to the shift rod.

Makes N to 1st less clunky, but so does getting new rose joints in the linkage but that costs, this mod is free

That probably doesn't make much sense but I'm sure someone will be along shortly to explain it better or try searching for it in workshop, think this originally came from Mik in Canada via Superhawk forum.

Genius I get the clunking fron N to 1 when im at lights or juctions wanted to knowhow to get shut of this

as you take it from 1st to N at a stop roll forward or backward a little, try same again when selecting gear
