just want to say thanks for the tips guys

used Autoglym Intensive tar remover and the job was done in 5 mins, sure beats the hour and half i spent on the other can, doh!

baby oil has many uses including removing the sticky residue left by stickers...

have got 25ltrs of tardis in garage but cant post highley flamable :(

Auto-Smart Tar-dis is one of the better tar/glue removers certainly better than AG (auto glym) but it's generally only available to the trade (keep a look out for the Auto Smart vans) they do sell to the public but unless you can get him to give you a sample 5 ltrs is the smallest size and it goes along way so 5 ltrs is probably to much for use at home, that said it's also brilliant at removing chain lube splatter so I suppose 5 ltrs would get used eventually, another good Auto-Smart product is Smart wheels great for cleaning brake calipers and the grime off the front of the engine.
I've now gone all European and bought a KTM Superduke GT and Aprilia RSV1000R :D ,
Storm is now gone :cry: .
