heat shrink tubeing

i want to use heat shrink tube on the coils after doing the coil mod, i just need to get a solder before i can finish off

what tube size diameter will i need to join the CBR's to the VTR's i want to run it the full length from the plug at one end to the plug at the other

thanks

also will a hair drier work or will i need a heat gun

Halford's do a little box full of various sizes.
Using short lengths will let you slide a larger diameter over a smaller diameter and then heat it, you'll get a better seal form larger to smaller wires that way.
If using a larger diameter sleeve to shrink onto two pieces of wire, squeeze a tiny bit of silicon sealer inside before shrinking it; this keeps water out and the joint can't corrode over time.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Maplins do packets of heat shrink in 1mtr lengths for reasonable money Seb.

You can also get glue lined heat shrink. :wink:
