cheers chris, it certainly looks like the wrong bracket, i'll ask tony if he has one. and i'll try and get hold of the bolt for the bracket behind the sidestand.... :thumbup:

It's the correct bracket, but yopurs has been bent through 90 degrees. Bend it back up so that it looks like the one in Chris' picture.

But if it snaps, yes, I have a set.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Usually because the engine was taken out but the bracket was left on it.
If you look a secondhand engines on ebay the brackets are often bent at strange angles.

Alternatively it's because some previously had another bellypan and bent the bracket to fit.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Having another look at your photo Marty I think Tony could be right. It might be easier though to leave the bracket as it is (rather than risking it snapping off) and just fabricate a longer Powerbronze bracket. It's only really a piece of flat bar bent 90* with a twist in it (very easy to do in a vice) with a hole/slot in each end.

Sorry mate hadn't noticed it was bent out shape etc what a bloody pisser, those brackets was off the ebay engine and mine was in better condition so swapped parts that was cosmetically better looking off mine onto this engine like cam covers, brackets etc

tony if no one else wants them i will buy them off you pm me the cost and postage please
want to take my powerbronze that has dirfferent fittings off to get sprayed so i would like to put the original back on while its done :thumbup:
