I am new to here so forgive me if this is a daft idea. But........ it seems to me the number one issue people want to deal with when getting a Storm is the cam chain tensioners. It's also the number one issue people are a bit wary about doing themselves and maybe unsure what place to take the bike to, do they understand how to do the job and will they get charged a fortune. What about a seperate workshop day just for CCT changing? For example the host amateur mechaninc who will tell us plebs what to do and provide tea and coffee could be paid £20 by each of us dummies for the help and use of spanners, if say 5 people had theirs done on a Sunday morning we would have a laugh, get our bikes done properly and the host would earn a cool £100. I would be up for it (I am the dummy by the way - not the mechanic)

These CCT days could be held severla times a year in different regions. Could do a rectifier/regulator coffee morning too? Having specific task workshop days keeps it simple for the person holding the event and more people can be shown at once. If it was arranged and everyone purchased their CCT adjusters then turned up with some biscuits and some spare spanners it would work well.
I can't make the workshop day this Saturday as I work Saturdays and getting them off is almost impossible but if another day were arranged in the midlands to do CCT's and or Regulators/Rectifiers I would be up for it as I am frightened about doing them myself and doing it wrong.
Shoot me down if this has been done or suggested - I am ducking now
