Dear old Flatty did a great job sorting my ccts. We used new gasket and loctite, but I've noticed a bit of a leak on the bottom cct.
I can't seem to tighten the lock nut any more, is there anything else I can do to stop the leak?

Re: Slightly leaky cct after replacement
Yes.
Get the engine to the correct TDC (this means taking the rear cam cover off again) and make sure that the cams are in the correct positions.
Then unscrew the cct bolt 10-15 mm, and smear silicon sealer into the threads. Lock the locknut back up tight once more.
Tighten it back up to the correct tension, and reassemble the cam cover and tank.
Then wipe off the excess gasket goo, and it'll be fine.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Re: Slightly leaky cct after replacement
I had the same problem on mine but just carefully loosened the lock nut, put some silicone sealant around the base of the thread and re-tightened the locknut. No leak in over a year.

thank you for the info Tony and vtwin.
I foresee some stripping and lubing once flatty gets back from his holiday
