Yes.
Get the engine to the correct TDC (this means taking the rear cam cover off again) and make sure that the cams are in the correct positions.
Then unscrew the cct bolt 10-15 mm, and smear silicon sealer into the threads. Lock the locknut back up tight once more.
Tighten it back up to the correct tension, and reassemble the cam cover and tank.
Then wipe off the excess gasket goo, and it'll be fine.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
I had the same problem on mine but just carefully loosened the lock nut, put some silicone sealant around the base of the thread and re-tightened the locknut. No leak in over a year.
