i`ve got some new grips for the storm gettin the old one`s off is not a problem "pass the stanley blade" any usefull tips on slidin the new ones on would be welcome obviously can`t use oil etc as i will never be able to accelerate again
was thinkin maybe heating them up in boiling water first don`t fancy spending all day saturday in a battle of will`s with the bike only to end up with a scratched tank and broken fingers

Use hairspray to fix the new uns on.

A bit of lady's hairspray works a treat.
Whatever you do don't use fairy liquid, your grips will never stick.

It does indeed and dries out once they are on so they don't slip about.

Hair spray sounds a good idea. I usually get the grip on a half inch and stick the air line nozzle between bar and grip and with your hand over the other end ready to push and make it air tight give it a blast. Works great.

Use either hairspray or clear laquer is good too.
KTM Duke 690ABS in White
