Thanks Chris.
I noticed today that it's harder for me to get my heel on the sidestand now, pulling it down while sitting on the bike. I may raise the gear lever a tad which should make it more accessible to my heel or get a bolt welded on the end of the sidestand stub. It was a bit tricky with the standard rearsets but these seem to make it worse. I also need to be a bit more careful wheeling the bike backwards otherwise I keep bashing my calfs into the pegs. I need to get used to them not folding. I am happy with the Harris rearsets, everything is so much smoother and not so cluncky.

Or put a little titanium hook into the heel of your left boot
And you can change the pegs for folding ones, whenever I ride a bike with fixed pegs it irritates me no end.
Good for the track, not so good for the road.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Harris Rearsets Fitment
Carl, you have to develop a special "harris" technique for putting the stand down whilst on the bike this involves purring your heel almost at a right angle just enough to push the stand out.
Thing is with these rearsets is that they are primarily for race use and Harris didn't really consider the fitment of a sidestand as racebikes are usually on paddock stands.
Chris.

Re: Harris Rearsets Fitment
I know what you mean. At a right angle I can just catch the tip of the stand with the plastic bit mounted on the heel of my Sidi's, but I have to watch I don't slip the selector out of neutral at the same time. I'm starting to get the hang of it, but I may just may stick a blob of chemical metal or something on the stand to make life simple.purring your heel almost at a right angle just enough to push the stand out.
I know what bracket the seller was talking about now! there are supposed to be at the base for the exhaust mount. But I don't use the rear exhaust mounts anyway as they are not standard pipes.

Re: Harris Rearsets Fitment
The long stem which you are using with your heel isn't brittle as you might think, With a bit of pipe on or along ring spanner it can easily be tweaked.

Re: Harris Rearsets Fitment
Thanks simo, it's no great problem really, it's just an irritant. If I just raise the gear selector slightly it will resolve it, but I will most likely get the head of a bolt welded on or use a bit if chemical metal or something.
