Can anyone give me some info or point me in the right direction of how to do this?:)
I've seen a few of u guys have them fitted, do they really help with the pressure on your wrists? I've been having some problems with my wrists and hoping this may help!
I prefer the look of clip ons but its becoming too painful even with the vfr bars I have fitted.

I have just done it and its all good.......much less wrist pressure, but still sporty with the lowest bend bar and a low profile set of bar clamps [less than 1" to ctr].

I made my own yoke conversion, but I have acess to a machine shop so that made it easier.

You need to cut the Fairing, extend the brake lines if you still have standard [my goodridge kit were long enough] the clutch line just works and you need to add 2" to the Horn wires.

Thanks guys, I like the CNC top yoke kit, looks very trick!
I think making my own with risers using the existing yoke or one from a breakers might be the cheaper option tho!
Will keep you posted with what I decide to do:)

Did I understood now correctly:

AMCQ46's Renthal conversion is made with standard top-yoke?

So only changes to the top yoke are 4 holes. Do you have threads in the holes?

Then you have bought/tooled two "bottom fitters" for the renthal bar and two "top fitters". Then you have bolted everything down.

Making holes and threads is trivial. The main question is from where/what you used to make the "bottom and top fitters" (sorry for my obscure language, but I really don't have a word for these... :shh: )

Sounds easy enough, and the best part is that you have actually a huge selection of bargain bars. You don't need to buy the Renthals when there are cheaper ones available with multigazillion different angles and lengths. :thumbup:

Good news is that you only drill 2 holes, and they are not threaded, the bar clamps i used have a single bolt holding the lower clamp to the yoke and there is a nylock nut fitted underneath the yoke

the problem with modding the standard top yoke is that you have to have the renthal bar sitting directly above the steering stem to avoid the fork tops which stick up through the yoke on the Storm. and when you move the yokes far enough back to clear the fork top, there is not enough of the yoke underneath to support the bolt or yoke.
So you need the clamps to angle back, not sit straight up, there are some like this Image

the ones I got were these Image
but I then had to machine them at an angle and alsu drill my holes at a matching angle, and have a spacer at the back at the same angle.........so it would be a real pain in the butt if you dont have a miller.
