does anyone know whats the best way of gettin the old glue/foam off the rims without scratching etc , ive tried wd40 but no use , bit of a silly one i know but cause its there , itll bug me everytime i clean the wheels.....cheers

white spirit, any tar/glue remover from a motor factors/halfords, you could also heat it up with a hairdryer and peel it off.....

LOL I recently had the same problem and as I did not have any glue/tar remover I ended up picking and scraping it off with my fingernail.

Most solvents will do the job - A bit of lighter fluid or dip a bit of rag in your tank.... 

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Careful if you're using solvents on paint, but if they're powdercoated you can use brake cleaner, trike or paraffin, even white spirit should do it.

Hi I think a small domestic steam gun with narrow pressure nozzle
would be ideal..steam u/pressure they would see orf your glue / foam .If you dont have one
they are not expensive and have hundreds of uses , quick to heat up for steam, safe and easy peasey to
use ... used for de-icing freezers , oven and cleaning about the home. .have a go with one of them bud

then i polsihed them up with this

And made them nice again

Then i applied carpro delux and a layer of milgior wax
You will also need a tub of this comes free
and like carl said finger nails help or i used a old rag aswell and used friction
But no afters
