Re: General consensus on exhaust manufacturers?
Venom are sort off a low middle ground on the scale. One thing to look out for Virt is that better quality cans don't require any re-jetting though would benefit from it. But it's a good sign when they advertise as not requiring re-jetting. And don't expect much if any power gains from slip on's.

Re: General consensus on exhaust manufacturers?
These Quill T3s work for me
and they're road legal, well they're stamped anyway
look and sound great, really happy with them
When I got them about 7 years ago I had to make my own link pipes because Quill didn't do high rise then, but I'm almost sure they do now, and would probably be around your budget

I also have quills and would say they appear to be solid and very well made . sound good too

Re: General consensus on exhaust manufacturers?
i just took off my viper cans. bought a pair of fuel silencers. seem good quality, sound fantastic, much more deep note than the vipers although going by the weight of the vipers i dont think theres anything inside them.also got the removable baffles.
got them 2nd hand off gumtree , 80 quid.hardly a mark on then..very happy!!

Save up and fit an R1 or RR4 - RR7 Blade back end and custom make the link pipesVirt wrote:I'll have a look firestorm
Can't get them Carl. Over £200 ;) and in wouldn't mind an under seat system. But no exhausts made for the storm would look right for it

You can leave the restrictors in place then. It may even lower you insurance.

Re: General consensus on exhaust manufacturers?
i use ones from "Powertechperformance" Simon up there will make you anything you like and are good quality. I have used his exhausts on over 7 bikes and they have all been very wekk made and sound the Dogs. They come with removable baffles and you will need these for MOT time. He is on e bay and make pipes and cans for cars too. Very happy with his goods and less than £ 200 for cans, link pipes and baffles.
oh and iam not on commision!!!
