(:-})the TPS Is Attached to the butterfly flap on the carbs which works via the throttle, so the reading changes as you open the throttle up and the TPS sends a reading to the ECU where it works out whether to advance or retard the ignition timing according to speed and revs.

Great info there. I will need to check if my 02 model uses this style of TPS first. BTW what size security torque hex did you use?? Also if you adjust the TPS unit whilst still on the cabs which direction should it be moved??

LOL, I really don't know without looking. I just bought a small kit, they're cheap enough. A cheap kit probably costs as much as buying one.BTW what size security torque hex did you use??
