Wheels

Post by Duffy1964 »

Hi all I am in the process of building a Storm Streetfighter witha 954 Blade front end conversion

I took a punt on ebay and got a pair of what I thought were blade wheels.

The wheels seem to be from a Honda Blackbird but have no markings as they have been polished out

Dose anyone know if the front wheel will fit a 929/954 Blade front end?

They are the easy bit to make :-) worry about the discs first .
Here are some bearing sizes that most Hondas use .
The part number might be handy when ordering some Image

Cheers for the info Lloydie

Yes James it's a 3 spoke like the storm and blade 929, that is why I took a punt as I thought it may have been a 929 wheel as seller was not sure

i hope it works for you, i used 954 tripples, r1 forks wheel and callipers just had to space the calipers in 2mm due to fork spacing. the 929 and 954 wheel was quite rare when i was looking for one or the price was too high

Cheers James, didn't know about the R1 option tbh, would have been easier but got a blade 954 complete front end now.

The wheel I took a punt on is not any good as disc stud holes are smaller centres than the blade, but bigger than the storm

I will sell it on and keep looking, I have a 954 wheel, but looks like its had a repair, so will hold out for a better one and keep other as a spare just in case

Thanks for your help fella's
