A newbie in the Midlands
Re: A newbie in the Midlands
I'd love to Richard, but no tax til Monday … and Tuesday night I'm away. Shame since the weather is so nice and I keep hearing bikes going past.

Welcome, great choice of bike. The more you ride it the more you will love it ! Get the mods done before you fit any shiny bits

Re: A newbie in the Midlands
Popped up to Bassetts Pole and met Alistair and a few others (didn't catch names sorry). Good to have a few friendly faces in a crowd to say Hi to. Thanks guys.
I would appreciate knowing how to reset the trip, can't see it described anywhere. Thanks.
Today I rode the bike properly for the first time, it was fantastic. I am a very happy bunny tonight.

Sorry I forgot that I was going to show you how to reset the trip.
Press the button that toggles it between odo and trip meter. When on trip reading then press again and hold. It down till it resets.
Good to see so many storms there

Thanks Alistair, I didn't give you a chance, I was off before the threatening rain. I have to up off early in the morning so no time to dry wet gear …
I presume you mean the square black button bottom right under the Odometer. Can you set it while the bike is running?
