I personally just flushed the gunk out of my sv with a hose in the filler and the drainage bolt open. Looking at the stuff I would have thought it would fine to use.

Is it mucky then? If there are oil traces in the coolant then you need to ask why first.

If it's just discoloured, empty and refill with fresh.
You can use Water Wetter or similar if you want to enhance the cooling, but a better solution is to fit a four-row oil cooler.
Or, to gain about point something of a horsepower, disconnect the water pump and replace it with an electric one.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Short sidestand means that it has been fitted with a rear shock spacer- this is a good thing, helps the bike handle and drop into corners.

Blackbird stands are slightly longer and will do the job. Have a look in Workshop thread for a how-to.

it has a blackbird stand on as far as i can tell by looking at other stands as for the spacer cant really seem to locate it but the bike does feel good in bends nice and sharp
will keep stand thats on for now but will need replacing as it doesnt look safe to me

The standard VTR Side stand has a ''foot prong'' about 2 1/2'' long. The Blackbird one is about 1'' long, the stand is roughly 2'' longer otherwise the style is the same & the switch fits in the same place.

This is a pic of a Blackbird stand as is, you can see the short ''prong''.

It will fit straight on but you may struggle to get your foot on the prong to push it down when sitting on bike.

This is what I've done to alleviate the problem...

It may be that your stand is bent, this will make it look if the bike is leaning over more.

The shock spacer referred to earlier will also make the bike look as if it is leaning over more as it raises the rear of the bike up. If you look from the side of the bike at the shock itself, at the very top of the shock mount, you will see if it has a spacer or not, it sits between the top of the shock & the square piece of frame that the top shock bolt passes through.

Well it's not a Blackbird stand then. BB stand is longer so the bike will be more upright...unless it's bent of course.

Let me just reaffirm, the stands do look very similar except the length & the prong.

Just get a replacement electrical block connector. Cut, strip, crimp away and bobs your uncle. Have the rads been crashed damaged or leaking then?

all fins on right one are bent inwards
left one seems to have a leak but just cant find it ...will do a pressure test on it
as for the fan ive sorted it out by changing the clip
it seems to be working fine now as soon as it hits past half way the fan kicks in and engine is not getting as hot as it used too

That will be about right  Do be aware that there is a thermosensor on the rear of the right rad. If the water level drops below this the fan wont kick in. Also be careful not to get airlocks in the system if draining and refilling.

How I refill the cooling system:

Refill

Run the bike for a while with no rad cap and let it warm up, (it will take time with no rad cap) top up as necessary and give the throttle a light rev and watch the cooling system circulate.

Squeeze any cooling hoses I can get to, especially the lower ones which helps unblock any airlocks that may be present. At the same time feel the heat in the hoses to confirm the system is circulating right through.

Run a little longer and rev.

Switch engine off and top up if necessary, then put the rad cap on.
Start bike and bring to max temp or until you hear the fan kick in.

Switch off and top up the expansion bottle if necessary.

Done.
