Oh how times have changed

I usually get around 100miles before I need to fill up. That's with or with the missus on the back. If I'm on my own iv had it drop to 95. Get to France, I was getting 125miles for 11L of fuel 8O

What i find interesting is how much riding style effects fuel consumption on this particular bike...might say something about the size of the carbs.

My previous sportbike (SV650N) could be flogged or babied and would always return about 45 MPG....I've watched this bike fluctuate between 28 and 30 mpg when i'm babying it...but i bet it gets worse if i don't.

babying it as in riding sensibly? That's not a healthy number, even for this bike

Worst 80 best 130 best on reserve 40.
Really annoying lack of fuel on a Sunday run out up here, needs careful planning.

at the moment, normally 105 before I try to fill up asap, have had it as high as 115, on the 16 litre tank, believe it or not i'd say those new brisk plugs agave me an extra 5-10 miles over iridiums. never did I manage 115, more like 100 before i swapped to the brisk plugs.
