Spent a day in the mattshed stripping and cleaning the bits that are off the storm. Swinger rebuilt and greased, all the linkages are re greased (all moving smoothly so hadn't got too far). Undertray wd'd to death and looking all minty fresh again. Looking forward to bolting it all back together again.
Budget storm gradually on the road to spangliness.

Rode it to the first bike meet of the year! Wooo!

Front wheel would not stay down

Let a mate have a go on it, on the premises of he pays completely if anything happens. Came back and started begging for another go not 5 minutes later.. I think I found a convert

Got in from work and increased the seat foam and covered in Alacantra (faux suede), just need to spray it with some waterproofing ermm.. spray!

I've managed to get the overal seat around 1" higher and firmer, also built up the front section to stop ball squish :)

Cleaned and polished up reet good

missed a small bit of muck on the flap under the bottom triple clamp (yoke) - 5th picture down

Top Tip - don't try and blow dry your bike with a hair drier takes ages and its pants, best to buy a proper one or just stick to micofibre cloths to pat dry the fcuker

Did various little bits & pieces to the pair of Storms, then hung Drooper from the rafters.

Took a we breather to sort out the neighbours son's YBR125 front brake lever which was sticking on...

Took some bits off Drooper, then took another breather when Jamie ''the Petcock killer of old Alresford Town'' turned up to collect me spare petcock.

Meanwhile back at Drooper... stripped off the rear end to get this off...

Be putting a standar shock & swinger on tomorrow.

The Nitron will be heading Nue Red's way...
