VTR After paint correction

Black being the true test of any Detailers skill not only that, negotiating the curves of a motorbike as appose to a car proved a new and exciting challenge
i think she came up a treat, 1 or 2 spots need some more leveling but this was 4 hours work as it stands
what do you guys think ?

Full process was wash dry then clay bar all bodywork

3m rotary polisher

hex logic orange pad with meguiers 105 ultra cut 3 passes

then Hex logic white polishing pad with meguiers 205 finishing 4 passes

Blue 3m super fine pad with 3m se to bring to a nice glossy shine 2 passes

Finished with chemical guys black light

that's harsh carl, well done fella, it's a proper job, shinier than mine that's for sure.....
here's how my routine goes....
wash it with bike friendly shampoo(can't remember the name)
rub some polish on and then rub it off again.....
keep up the good work dude..

Lol cheers carl i know those are the only 2 spots left on the bike that need a tad more leveling this was 4 hours work and i couldn't wait t get out on the bike and enjoy the sun so i took the pics plus its my first time doing a motorbike. im to used to doing cars which are tons easier.

I appreciate how much hard work it is, it's not easy. I have used some of Menzerna's products in the past on newly painted paintwork done by myself with rattle cans. Polished it up by hand as I don't have a DA or Rotory. That was Black paint too. Next time I do some polishing I'm either gong to use some Megs or if I can find some small sample pots then I would love to give the 3M range a go. I like the idea of their colour coded system and being 3M I have no doubt it's good stuff.

I have the 3m yellow and the 3m blue both very good products but yes the bottles are huge lol

you can get meguiers 105 and 205 in small sizes and the results are very good from them. if you have dark paint though try the chemical guys black light its top notch or 1 better its glass coating. but down side is it isnt cheap

Who is junkman is he a member on here ? wouldn't mind seeing the results he is getting . there old products but there like tried and true. only down side is slow results from them.

LOL no not a member on here, checkout the junkman2000 on youtube, the guy is an ex US marine into detailing his video guides are legendary and pretty funny too, he covers machine polishing in great detail using pretty much the same process and products (for the paint correction) you used, he as quite a few guides on stuff like 2 bucket washing, wet sanding, claying, waxes and sealants it's all interesting stuff and well worth a look if your into detailing.
