After I attempted mine I took it to a local metal plater and asked if it could be plated instead :lol:
But as bits of the pipes and it was bits were magnetic it wouldn't work so left it in the man cave until I can build up the enthusiasm again to have another go which will probably be the weekend .But looking at some of the guys bikes on here who have done it I'm sure it will all be worth it
