Welcome M8

How can you moan about handling when you have ridden a Vmax which had probably one of the worst designed front end set-ups of any modern bike

Hi and welcome, I'm a very newbie too and have to say this is a great bunch of folks, just don't set your cams 180 degrees out, hope you are ready for some fun with the 'loons'.

Thanks all.

Yes, as mentioned at the start they're CBR1000 forks.
I've now purchased a spare top yoke and pair of XJR13 riser to do the conversion.
I'm bidding on a set of Viper carbon cans and link pipes for it on eBay at the moment too.

It shat it down the last couple of days and I'm mildly impressed with the fairing. I'll definitely miss it when it's gone!
I get just over 120 miles to a tank, because I'm not a particularly fast rider, and it easily does 300 miles on £30 which is more than good enough for me.

Will let you know any progress as it's made. I work 70 - 100hrs per week, plus the commute, so its transformation wont exactly be overnight!
:D

Cheers

Well...

Not sure which bit constitutes moaning, was simply trying to explain my impression of the bike thus far.
When you're used to bikes 250kg+, this thing feels very, very light and much less 'planted'.

like al I would keep the fairing
