Second hand I know but £80 for a pump COMPLETE with tank seems cheap by comparison. :D

Hi Watty

Is the blade carbed or injected, may of the Hondas have a crank sensor which energises the ecu / module which switches the relay for the fuel pump, it may not be the fuel pump!
It would be worth checking a couple of items before buying anything eg if you put a direct feed to the pump does it work, if it does start tracing back on the 'electrics (I've had a module fail and later a fuel pump) if it is a pump and the bikes carbed, have a look at kiwicomponents.com!

No worries Watty, you never know! if you need a pump and its carbed I may be able to help! Is it a Mitsubishi pump (there is a cast logo in the plastic end cap) which the points burn out?
You can get a points kit or change the unit for something more reliable.

Right then! Developments! Party girl and darkember were heading down the right road! It seems my brother indeed did have power to what he thought was the pump feed but he had actually tested and power probed the fuel low warning wire :? The actual cause of the problem was, he had had the key in bits to replace the remote batteries, a small piece of loose plastic fell out!!!!!! he left it out as he thought it was just a broken piece of plastic!!!!!!! But guess what!!!!!!! It was actually the transponder 8O So now he has a running Blade and a spare fuel pump! Every day is a school day  . Thanks again for all your helps
