My point excatly Stu...Have you ever considered that the person you are trying to contact may have better things to be doing than replying to you ?

Holiday ? In hospital ? MIA ? Can't be arsed as they know it's you ? ( ) Watching paint dry ?

See this all goes back to your 1st few posts deriding the 50 post rule, since then you have hardly been active on the forum have you...

The majority of your post all seem to be me, me, me, I wan't, I wan't...

If your on Farcebark try here for parts... https://www.facebook.com/groups/vtrworldwide/

...although be warned they have rules as well...

I'm having trouble fitting the standard exhausts back onto my Firestorm as they don't seem to line up properly with the original pipes for some reason.

I'm working out whether I need to wiggle the downpipes around to get everything lined back up, and in the process make sure that the cans & link pipes I have are designed to fit standard pipes before I sell them.
The last thing I want is to sell the lot, for the buyer to then find out they don't fit normal headers.

It's normal to loosen it all off and fit /line up then tighten.

Ok that's good to know.

Still doesn't make it any less of a pain in the butt when they haven't been touched for 4 years

I fitted standard pipes recently and it was a pain. The main problem being the fibre collar (asbestos?) around the end of the headers. This had hardened and had to be chipped off and the ends of the headers and tidied up with a file. Then, using a spike to get the holes roughly lined up I managed to get the bolts through. Judicious tightening of the bolts brought everything back in line. Never had to loosen the headers.
