Mike, you've never bothered emailing despite Chris giving you mine

What link? Where?
Who? When? Did they? Huh? Eh?
And Stu....could the reply not have gone below the actual place where said link/conversation was originally posted?
Gawd. I dunno. I disappear for a week, and it's all falling apart.

My point excatly Stu...Have you ever considered that the person you are trying to contact may have better things to be doing than replying to you ?Stu9 wrote:Chill!....I've been waiting 4-5 days just for a reply....I'll get them somewhere elseMacV2 wrote:You need to chill Stu...![]()

Re: Fao travis and/or Mike
I'm having trouble fitting the standard exhausts back onto my Firestorm as they don't seem to line up properly with the original pipes for some reason.
I'm working out whether I need to wiggle the downpipes around to get everything lined back up, and in the process make sure that the cans & link pipes I have are designed to fit standard pipes before I sell them.
The last thing I want is to sell the lot, for the buyer to then find out they don't fit normal headers.

It's normal to loosen it all off and fit /line up then tighten.spikenipple wrote:I'm having trouble fitting the standard exhausts back onto my Firestorm as they don't seem to line up properly with the original pipes for some reason.

Ok that's good to know.
Still doesn't make it any less of a pain in the butt when they haven't been touched for 4 years

Re: Fao travis and/or Mike
I fitted standard pipes recently and it was a pain. The main problem being the fibre collar (asbestos?) around the end of the headers. This had hardened and had to be chipped off and the ends of the headers and tidied up with a file. Then, using a spike to get the holes roughly lined up I managed to get the bolts through. Judicious tightening of the bolts brought everything back in line. Never had to loosen the headers.spikenipple wrote:lloydie wrote:It's normal to loosen it all off and fit /line up then tighten.spikenipple wrote:I'm having trouble fitting the standard exhausts back onto my Firestorm as they don't seem to line up properly with the original pipes for some reason.
